Otros Edelweiss Manotel

Al ser tan pequeño su numero de habitaciones, carece de algunos servicios. A su vez cuando te has alojado un par de veces, todo el personal te conice y trata de una forma muy familiar. El pequeño número de habitaciones no permite obtener siempre alojamiento cuando viajas alli a menudo como es mi caso.

Bien situado, centrico y zona muy tranquila. Autobuses frente al hotel directos a la zona financiera.

Buffet desayuno escaso y no muy buena calidad. Afortunadamente cerca hay muchas buenas cafeterias donde tomarlo.

Hay muchos pub, restaurantes y toda clase de espectaculos.

Overall I was happy with the stay and would stay there again.

The service couldn't be faulted

Because I didn't call the hotel and specifically request a non-smoking room, I was put in a smoking room and they couldn't move me until the final night. For health reasons this is not optimal. I feel that tea and coffee facilities (as they are quite basic) should be included for the price, and not extra. Likewise, the price of breakfast was probably a little high for the food on offer (basic but very tasty, exactly what i want but I know others hoping for a cooked breakfast that was advertised would have been disappointed).

very impressed with the free transport if you fly into geneva you can pick up free rail travel to the centre from a desk in the baggage reclaim hall. and the hotel provides a free local transport ticket for trains and buses. It is just so swiss and logical to welcome people in this . What a pity Britain is not so welcoming to tourists.

as you would expect in geneva the hotel was clean and was very much a tourist type concept. the hotel whilst very much in the city was decorated to look like a swiss alpine hotel. downstairs the restuarant was all fodue and the entertainment alpen horns and piano-organ music. I enjoyed my fondue and stay and would return for an odd night if I am in geneva

parhaps a little unfair to put this as a negative about the hotel but I was there during the motor show and the price was outrageous as were all of the other hotels in geneva at the time. no real facilities like pool etcetera but at the right price its a good bet and fairly close to cornavin station and the lake.

fairly central for city stuff. clubs,shops the lake etcetera
