Good location for public transport access to Merseyside area; good to have leisure facilities on site - hotel refurbished well - both rooms and communal areas
Limited choice for non meat eaters in restaurant, bar or room service. Difficulty in getting hold of room service - eventually order had to be taken by reception staff - order wrong when it finally turned up. Some of the food cold. Dont know whether we were charged right amount as no itemised bill available on leaving - just a total. Did not like the £10 extra charge on arrival to book into room early - the room was either available or not - this was just making extra profit. Room not well lit - appreciated the modern lighting but difficult to make sufficient areas of the room well lit without glaring into your face.
