A modern, clean, well presented hotel. All meals in the restraurant are buffet style, which I normally would avoid at 4* level, but it worked well and the food was excellent. The hotel is located in the village of Santa Cruz which we found to be a charming location with a good feel about it. All the hotel staff we contacted were very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is located in line with and about 400m from the end of Funchal airport runway, so expect several aircraft to fly low overhead during the day, however this was a lot less of a noise issue than I expected. Access to the indoor pool and exercise equipment has to be paid for by hotel guests. Unusual in my experience. The sun loungers around the main pool defied our attempts to sit comfortably. (The first one I tried actually fell apart beneath me due to a missing bolt!)

Goosd location to explore the island if you have a hire car. Travellers on foot may want to consider staying in Funchal.

Todos os serviços são extras. Seria preferível subir no preço da diária até porque são serviços utilizados por todos os clientes.
