This family-friendly historical hotel is housed in an imposing Victorian building which is very pleasant with great views over the ocean. Built in 1897, the business hotel offers 71 rooms in total. Guests are welcomed in the lobby, which offers a 24-hour reception and a 24-hour check-out service, as well as a hotel safe and lift access to the upper floors. There is a bar, pub, disco and a restaurant and guests will appreciate the conference facilities and wireless Internet access in public areas. Guests can also take advantage of the room and laundry services (both for a fee). Those arriving by car may leave their vehicles in the hotel car park (fees apply).

This hotel enjoys a majestic location on the cliffs of Newquay looking out over the bay. The shops of Newquay's centre are less than 200 m from the hotel, and the famous Fistral Beach can be reached in 20 minutes on foot. Newquay railway station is 50 metres away, and the bus station is a 5-minute walk. Truro is approximately 30 minutes by car, the Eden Project is a 45-minute drive, St. Ives is roughly 50 minutes away and Lands End is around an hour and 15 minutes' drive from the hotel.
