We ate some of the best food in Rome, in restaurants local to the hotel and it was very, very reasonable.

This hotel is not in the centre but is served perfectly by buses number 3 (to Colleseum) and 19 (to Vatican) which stop across the road from the hotel. A 3 day ticket cost 11E for unlimited use on any transport.
