The staff were very helpful. I had booked a gondola ride but had not received the confirmation of booking prior to leaving home. The confirmation was acquired after the concierge made telephone calls and sent a fax on my behalf. When I tanked him he merely shrugged his shoulders and indicated it was merely part of the service. I have stayed in higher graded hotels and not received such assistance and service. The hotel is conveniently placed for the water bus from the airport - literally five minutes (maximum) walk along the canal. Also it is about 15 - 20 minutes walk from St Mark's Square; although you need to be careful with your map reading initially as there are may narrow streets - many not on either of the street maps we took with us
The room and en-suite were a bit on the small side - but we coped.

Convenient for those who don't want to get lost in Venice if arriving at night. Rooms kept spotlessly clean. Beds made daily. Overall good value for money
Breakfast very basic. No door on bathroom in room and no draws for clothing. No Maps of venice at the hotel reception.
Restaurant next door to hotel, but was shut by midnight so you we were not kept awake. Main landmarks of venice was a 20 min walk. Bus stop for airport and other islands were just outside the hotel.

Venice is a great place to visit and the vaparetto water bus is the best way to see the place. Get a 24 hour pass, and see th whole island.
Great location and views. Owner and staff very friendly. Room nicely decorated. Very well placed for water taxi & vaparetto stops.
Very erratic plumbing. Being attacked by mosquitoes (not hotel's fault - mine for leaving window open slightly!) Thin wall between bedroom and bathroom.Strange smell coming up the sink - not unpleasant, but could have been from the work being done outside hotel.
North lagoon, Murano, lots of shops - very well placed for all major sights and things to see. Great small restaurants very near hotel.

Excellent value for money and ideally situated for vaporetto outside hotel. Friendly staff. This was our second visit and we would most certainly stay here again.

Que esta en frente mismo de una parada del vaporetto.
La recepción, la sala de desayunos y el bar todo junto en un espacio muy reducido. El desayuno, a excepción del café, pésimo. El recepcionista nocturno, inapropiado para un hotel.

zona molto tranquilla, comoda perchè vicino ai traghetti e poco distante dal centro. l'albergo è accogliente e il personale simpatico e gentile.
