Hotel Torreblanca

lovely pool area and well kept gardens

sameness about food and meals cold new platters of fried eggs brought straight from the kitchen were cold. No waiter service for drinks in dining room or lounge. Not exactly 4 star.

ideally placed and great value for money

A very large garden area with ample sunloungers and 2 swimming pools, pleanty of space to relax. Rooms are well looked after and are very spaceous, they were only 2 bed rooms but could easily fit another bed i.e. 1 double and a single, so very spaceous. Always a good selection of food at the buffet dinner. The train station from the airport is just outside the hotel, and you never hear the trains whilst staying there.

Air-conditioning in room did not work and it was very hot at night, so we had to keep the balcony door open. We asked about this but the hotel said it is not hot enough in Spain yet (May) to turn on the air-con units so that was a slight inconvenience. There are 2 very small lifts in the hotel and in my opinion they are not substantial for the size and volume of the building. Each takes 6 people max. and during busy times such as breakfast, lunch or dinner, and bearing in mind it is still off-peak season, you can be waiting for 10 or so minutes for a lift just to find that it's full anyway, so unless you're on one of the top floors the stairs are much quicker and more convenient in some respects.

There is a train station that will take you to fuengirola (10 mins) or even to malaga (30 mins) literally just outside the hotel, if you wanted a change of scenery. However the beach is extremely close, just a few yards from the hotel garden, along with several supermarkets, restaurants and bars. So if you're there just to relax in the sun there's no reason to go anywhere because it is relatively quiet at this end of the fuengirola bay-area and there's pleanty of places to cater for you.

The Hotel was very nice, the room was spacious and clean. The food was excellent and the service was great. We cannot wait to visit again.

The hotel had a lovely atmosphere and the gardens and pool were lovely - was nice to be able to sit somewhere quiet or more lively depending on my own mood

It would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room

The location of the train station was perfect as well as the beach

excellent value for money and location could not find fault with anything
