Hotel Thistle London Heathrow

Good location close to Heathrow, really close to Terminal 5! DO NOT TAKE THE HOTEL HOPPA bus, it is really expensive and there is a free local bus the serves Terminal 5 from outside the hotel, once at Terminal 5 you can take the free train to T123 or connect to another free bus. It works out quicker as well because the Hotel Hoppa Bus stops at countless hotels so it feels like you are going around in circles. Great wifi in rooms, would definitely recommend.

Front desk staff were not brilliant.

No lift. Food was served lukewarm Hotel was freezing cold Toilet was broken and we ran out of toilet paper despite having the room cleaned during our stay. Breakfast was not included in the price. Staff could not even understand a simple drink order at the bar. Very unsatisfied. Would not recommend hotel to anyone. It was not worth the amount of money that was paid.

Car parking very difficult, very few spaces

Close to the airport, comfortable bed, standard ameneties.

We had the do not disturb sign up until 12.30pm but then did not get our room cleaned and had to ask reception 3 times for clean towels, toilet roll and coffee. We also received an external phone call directly to our room from a member of the public.

No elevator - full flight of stairs and a long walk with suitcases (although help was offered)//

think the parking should be included in the hotel price as this is extra for a nightly stay.

This is the second time we have stayed here and we do recommend it to our friends. We particularly like the view from the breakfast room!

The hotel from the outside looked very uninviting, the reception staff had trouble finding my reservation and there was no lift to the first floor...not good when you have a lot of luggage! I requested a quiet room which turned out to be far from it. The room was cold, I put the heater on which was louder than a fog horn so I was cold all night. The bed was solid, and I woke up from what little sleep I did get with a crick In my neck! Never again! Very disappointed and very overpriced!!

Awful experience - waited over an hour for food, so had to leave ?, waited ages at reception only one person serving, room grubby, TV did not work - frozen screens ??

Clean, friendly, helpful. The restaurant is pleasant and reasonably priced. Food is good. An excellent place to stay if you have a flight from Heathrow the next day.
