En general no está mal para pocos días, pero no es competitivo contra otras opciones igual de cerca, comparando Calidad-Precio, sobre todo en servicios que son muy comunes en hoteles en zonas de negocios (como es el caso) en que los servicios no los cobran (desayuno, wifi, room service)
El gimnasio está bien equipado y la atención es buena.
No tiene Wifi en las habitaciones, y el servicio del Wifi es muy malo y caro. Las habitacione son un tanto pequeñas y tardaron 3 días en prender la calefacción. Siento que le hace falta una remodelación a las instalaciones generales. Además cobran el servicio a room service bastante caro.
hay que ir hasta Old Street, porque la zona es totalmente habitacional y es muy tranquila.

The infrastructure was very good (including pool, steam room and jacuzi). Not far (~700m) from the underground station (Old Street). Good location if you are looking for touristic atractions (you can reach the Jubilee line on the underground doing only 1 change). Good deal for the price.
There are 2 buildings and the only comunication between them is the street, which is not good if you want to go to the pool using a bath robe only. I asked 4 times for an extra robe (only one was available in the room) to be used while we were in the pool, but no one brought it to my room.

Friendly and welcoming staff. All round good value for money
Location - further to walk to central amenities, tube etc. than we would of liked, but that's personal preference due to my partner having some mobility issues)

Close to centre Adequate for a few nights stay Concierge was very helpful Taxi's from the hotel are reliable and at a reasonable price. Tea/ coffee facilities.
During check in, I found that the lady found it difficult to communicate with me (English did not seem to be her first language) repeatedly asking me to repeat myself. She came across as rude, abrupt and did not listen to what I was trying to explain. Once we had checked in, we were not told of the facilities available, and had to look this up in the information provided in the room.
The whole of London! 10 minute walk to nearest underground station, if you transfer at Kings Cross or Eusten, you can get anywhere within 30 mins. Hotel has spa and leisure facilities, although we did not use these.

I have stayed in a lot of hotels, 4 star by Thistle you would expect to be good, Charing Cross was. This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had, I expected Basil Faulty to appear at any time. It was that poor it became funny...... £200 a room, you are joking.. I would have accepted some failings due to Christmas period if given advance warning , but when there is such poor comunication you are trapped at their mercy.
Conciege and Front desk Helpful on arrival. Front desk assisted us by changing our room quickly when it was needed. Has a leisure centre, if open, cannot comment on it as was closed.
Deluxe family room was a double with camp bed. Then Hot tap came of soaking my partner. Second room 1134 was filthy, mould on bathroom tiles, ceiling, wallpaper falling off in room, sick stains on carpet, light switch over bed pushed in, a pedestal fan supplied in room as room red hot, although radiators cold. Leisure area closed early, notice on on door of centre , found after lengthy walk, front desk or conciege did not advise us in advance. Food was poor, bar menu served in alacarte restuarant, no one thought to tell us when table booked days before hand. Waiters spoke and understood little english, steak cremated and refrozen ice cream served with desert. First time I have every refused to pay for an entire meal.

I was very disappointed with the price/quality of the hotel. I felt like it did not reach the 4* hotel as mentioned. The room was very very tiny and the shower was not working properly. I am often travelling for work purposes and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Professional and personal service
First room was not ready for occupation; the bed had been used and there were dirty cups next to the bed. The second room had non-functioning main light switches; when the bedside lights were used it became apparent that the light fittings were in a dangerous state. Finally I was offered a decent quality room for the initial price. The older block is in critical need of refurbishment.

we had an enjoyable stay and found the accommadation clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly.Once we had found the hotel initially we found it easy walking distance from the Old Street Underground. We felt quite safe walking back from the underground late at night after the theatre.




great locations for exploring London attractions, great facilities, the food was excellent
La atención del conserje Español, un andaluz muy simpatico y que nos facilito mucho las visitas
tuve que reclamar varias veces mi voucher de desayuno a pesar de estar incluido en la reserva
Comer en el fish and chips Central , muy cerca del hotel
