    Very friendly attentive staff. Big Plus

    Very expensive breakfast. Paid £30 for a full english for 2 people. They have a steak night which is £25 for 2 and you get a bottle of wine. Maybe I should have gone for that as thats much better value!

    Very nice and trendy hotel. Clean and well built rooms. Soundproof from traffic and people outside and also from people in the hallway.

    The hotel offers valet parking for £12 per night, which is a great offer. There are parking spots around the hotel where you can park. Once the clock starts on the meter in the morning, you can max pay for 2 hours at a time. Which means that if you park there you have to go back every second hour to put coins on it. However you can park there for free over night, you just have to check when they start charging in the morning.

    Plenty. The sea front is about a ten minute walk away, and there are banks, cafeterias and pubs surrounding the hotel.

    Beautiful hotel with friendly, professional staff. The bar is a must for a quiet drink and there is a new night club on the first floor if you want something more lively. The room we stayed in (corner studio) is fantastic and has an unusal but deep 'cube' of a bath.

    The only negative in the room would be the coffee making machine in the room which was awkward to operate and only made warm, rather than hot coffee (or maybe that was just my technical expertise with the machine). It would have been nice to have seen a full English breakfast in the restaurant even if they were to place their own spin on this old favourite.

    It's in Southport so there is plenty to do.

    The hotel was one of the best I have stayed in. The room was spacious with THE most comfortable beds. Bath room had a very small bath with a 'seat' in it......very comfy!! All the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Would highly recommend afternoon tea, you would really only need one between two.

    We were not told about a wedding that was taking place directly under our bedroom.....was a bit noisey
