The Tower - A Guoman Hotel

Por lo demás el servicio de habitaciones, desayuno, etc. muy bien.

El hotel en general está bien, al llegar nos ofrecieron pagar algo más por una habitación "de luxe" y estaba muy bien.

De los dos días que estuvimos tuvimos que ir tres veces a protestar porque en la habitación hacía muchísimo frío, y no nos lo arreglaron. No pude quitar el jersey ni para dormir.

Pasear por la torre de Londres

Situación privilegiada, cerca de la Torre de Londres, junto al Támesis y con muchos locales tanto de ocio como culturales, en la orilla de enfrente.

Paseo, restaurantes, espectáculos, etc.

Las instalaciones del hotel son insuficientes por el tamaño que tiene, es decir los dos restaurantes no absorben la gran cantidad de clientes a la hora del desayuno. En el fin de semana que estuvimos, el sábadopor la mañana a las 9:00 habñía una cola de media hora en pie para entrar a la sala del desayuno en ambos restaurantes. El domingo por la mañanana la cola salía de las puertas del hotel, a las 9:00 y a la 10:00 igual. Al quejarnos en recepción nos dijeron que la culpa en nuestra por bajar todos juntos a desayunar.... tuvimos que irnos a un bar en la calle para desayunar. Nunca en mi vida he visto algo parecido. Al parecer esto pasa todos los fines de semana..... a mi me parece un robo cobrar más de 20? por un desayuno y dejar a la gente en cola horas en el hall como si estuvieramos en tiempos de guerra.

The room lacked handles in drawers, no content in the minibar, lamps without light, dirty windows. It is too bad that these things do not work in a room which is called the "Deluxe Room". In our booking we had booked the standard room, but we upgraded when we arrived. I wonder how a standard room is maintained . The hotel lacks overall finish in some areas. There was, for example, a ceiling lamp by the lifts on 7 floors, which winked at all 4 days we were there. Why does not the light bulb changed? Similarly, there was no light in some of the floor buttons in the lifts. Noticeboard with room numbers missing numbers on the seventh floor. The Brasserie Restaurant served a rotten apple in the dessert, and took money for it, although we pointed out to the waiter. Very bad service

Very good location with beautiful environment (tower, tower bridge, whraf and docks). Very polite and accomodating personnel.

Very minor selection at breakfast bufett for an international hotel with 4 stars. Only apples as fresh fruit offered (e.g. additional pears and bananas in fruit bowl...). Further more additional cold cuts of banger or smoked salmon could be offered... This was valid for the breakfast canteen in the upper flor as well for the brasserie in the ground floor.

Upgrade room was worth the extra money Food, apart from breakfast, was good value for the cost

we have traveled very often for business and vacation the last years and have stayed in hotels 4 stars or 5 stars in different hotels in Europe and found that the size of the rooms of this hotel was small for a 4 stars hotel, so we believe! Also we wondered that after 10.00 o clock we could not drink any coffee or something like that only to try roomservice. Probably in England people sleeps early!

very clean rooms, we had the best view to the tower bridge

although we requested a double bed they put us in a room with two beds-no other room available and they wanted also to put us on the behind side of the hotel. We insisted to get at least a room with a view to the tower bridge, because it was not correct to get nothing no double bed no view. we booked and prepaid 2 months ago!!!!! After a long conversation and discussion with the reception supervisor we got a room with view to the tower bridge!

everything! bus, underground boat all these are very close to the hotel and you can enjoy everything.

The chef is to be commended, the food we had on 04/04/09 was of a very high standard

cleaners start too early with room cleaning and are not quiet, I was woken on 4 seperate occasions in a space of an hour

The receptionist did not all the counties! She could not understand that Hellas is Greece!

A lot ! But the basic there is a metro station close and you can go anywhere!
