On March 23rd, 2012 is Silent Day (Nyepi Day) in Bali. This holiday celebration will start at 6.00 am and will last until 6.00 am, the following day. No arrival and departure flights, no traffic, music, dancing or activities are allowed and the harbours will be closed. Only on emergency situations will guests be allowed to leave the hotel. Swimming in the ocean is not permitted, the hotel swimming pools may be open depending on the individual hotels rules. Any external lighting visible to surrounding communities is to be extinguished. Guests are required to close their hotel room curtains to minimize the light.

Between February 15th and June 15th, 2012 2 blocks of suites on the right wing will be taken out of the hotel inventory due to renovation. From February 20th until June 15th, 2012 the hotel will undergo swimming pool’s upgrade. From 1st March, the sunset lawn area at the front of the hotel will be dug out in preparation for the new lap pool. From February 15th to June 1st, 2012 upgraded will be the Beach House.
