Helpful Staff Breakfast
When i arrived, I was checked into a room which the window was jamed open. When i spoke to reception she realised that she had given me the room that the window is unable to close and moved me to another room. 2nd room given, I went in and the room hadn't been cleaned that day. Dirty towels on the floor and rubbish everywhere. Dirty bath. Went to reception again and was moved to another room. 3rd room, Dirty and wet towel in bath and horrible smell (like someone had recently done something in the toilet. Went to reception and complained again...... Moved to room 4!!! 4th room..... Finally nothing wrong with this room, until the morning. When taking a shower, it was dripping out (not powerful at all) Then when i tried to turn the shower off.... it jamed on!! Had to call recpetion to get someone to come and switch it off. They were unable to and had to shut off the water to that room. Reception then gave me a 5th room to finish getting ready for my trip to Luton Airport!!!!

The staff were the saving grace - they were all lovely, friendly and eager to help.
This hotel could really do with a make over, the decor is old and tired and made the whole place look tatty. I had mould in my bathroom too. I had a discount which made it £51 but I thought that was still very overpriced. I'd recommend this place to people who are traveling alone and don't need to impress girlfriends or spouses. If you don't care too much about being able to eat your breakfast off the bathroom floor and can live without air conditioning or other modcons like an iron then it's OK.

Staff are friendly and responsive. Breakfast was fine.
The rooms was dire. No attempt to remove the thick black mould around the bath has been made in a very long time. The net curtains across the windows are yellow/grey, in much need of a wash better still - replaced. I could go on...I felt thoroughly during my stay and was happy to leave my room.
