It's close to the city center and the metro is only 10min. walk. Nice cafe & restaurant 2 houses next door with good food and drinks. The reception is open 24H a day/7 days a week.
For families with little children there is no elevator.
Visit Buda in walking distance. Shopping in Pest.

Be careful that the publlic transport system closes at 11.30pm which is quite early and a taxi back can be expensive. The tram takes you to another lively part of the city which has been dubbed the Piccadilly Circus of Budapest, however, even though there were plenty of restaurants, casinos, etc it just wasn't as lively as I thought it would be. Budapest has a excellent number of vegetarian restaurants, but some are difficult to find and walking around at night time did not feel very safe.
The hotel is in a good location, tram stop is just opposite the hotel and the nearest metro station is only a 5 minute walk away. The metro station (Ferenc Korut) is only about 3 stops away from the main centre which is good. The staff are friendly and speak English (apart from the kitchen staff). The breakfast is only ok but at least it gets you started for the day. The rooms are huge and clean and the bathroom was also clean and big. Overall really happy with the size of rooms and general location of the hotel.
The hotel only has a very narrow staircase leading to the rooms. Our room was like a sauna! It was so hot that it was difficult to breathe. The air conditioning is non existent..they have option of heating or a fan. The fan did not work at all and it was very suffocating and uncomfortable on day 1. Even though it was freezing outside, I would rather have stood outside than in the room...we had to leave our windows open for a whole day and night. The breakfast is ok and the food is not replaced - i.e. if they run out of anything it won't be replaced, so get down there early! The juice machines were not working and the only juice they had was either watered down heavily or they used cordial rather than fresh juice, however, this is only a minor thing. The hotel is next door to a strip club and sex shop so may not be ideal for families with children.
The road the hotel is on does not have that much...local shops and a Subway opposite and a Chinese restaurant next door. There is a gallery at the end of the road and the building for the gallery is lovely. Best thing is to jump on the metro for 3 stops (take about 10 mins) and go to the centre. Everything was easily accessible from this hotel.

Staff were friendly and helpful.
Hotel had apparently been closed for a few weeks before we arrived and was unprepared for guests. Hotel room and sheet was dirty when we arrived, quality of overall room dirty and tacky as well as hotel is laid out and its location. we were very disappointed and felt the hotel was very overpriced.

Good breakfast. Hotel close to center of Budapest.
Only single bed, not double bed. Noisy hotel.
You have to take the subway to go to the center (3 stations)

Good sized, plain room and quiet away from the busy street. Breakfast was very good once you found where everything was! Clean room and comfortable bed. Reasonable value for money and I would stay there again.
The burly guy at reception was more like a bouncer than a receptionist. You would think he was guarding the crown jewels. Apart from the woman who serves breakfast, the staff are unresponsive. My room was not cleaned for 2 consecutive days and the air conditioning system insisted on blowing hot air. No soap in the shower's dispenser and the one at the handbasin was overflowing with soap but it did not work

The hotel was very good, very clean and the staff was very friendly. We will come back.
Muy buena relación calidad precio. Buena situación. Hotel pequeño y acogedor, aunque sin ascensor.
