The room was very small and the bed was not a double bed. The shower head had to be hand held as there was not a hook on the wall to hold the shower head. The bath was also very small (only able to sit in the bath).
The hotel was alot further out of Rome than we were led to believe being a 25 minute bus ride on a very busy bus.
Nothing

clean and bright and in a pleasant quiet area
Bedroom small and cramped, very small bed that was supposed to be double, no proper shower, no bedside lamps, too far from centre. Staff were unable to provide adequate information regarding the purchase of bus tickets and taxi services. food of inferior quality i.e breadrolls badly cooked, tea coffee and drinks from machine rather than fresh. Would not recommend it
Very pleasant and reasonable restaurant opposite

If its a short break you're after and you dont mind a bus trip to the Centre then this place would be ideal. Its very clean and has good facilities within the room and hotel but with all that Rome has to offer you wont spend much time in the hotel anyway... After reading some of the reviews for this hotel before i booked up i was a bit dubious, but after experiencing it for myself there was really nothing to worry about. A nice hotel, worthy of its 4* accolade.
We found the hotel very clean throughout including our room which was always returned to spotless after an exhausting day sightseeing around Rome. The air-conditioning was within the room rate which we found a treat and also meant that we weren't going to be unexpectedly stung for 40 euros when we checked out...! A nice private seating area was outside the hotel at the back if you fancied a quiet coffee in the afternoon or a beer just before you went out. There was also the jacuzzi on the roof which you could use which is only open in the summer months and is open from 10:00am till 7:30pm.
The only negative thing about this hotel really, is its location. To get to the centre of Rome, you need to find the 'square' which is where the number 60 bus leaves from and is only a 2 minute walk from the hotel. You're supposed to buy a ticket for 1 euro at a local 'tabbachi' store but my partner and i weren't made aware of this and travelled for free all weekend we were there but only found out about the ticket when we arrived back in the UK..! Just be aware of this but no-one checks your ticket and as the buses have side access/egress you dont need to walk past the driver. The number 60 bus journey lasts about 15-20 minutes and stops right outside the Colloseum but i recommend that you stop by a Tourist Information office for a map of the city as its such a massive and busy place and its very easy to get lost. The staff of the hotel were ok, but i think the language barrier made us or them seem arrogant at times.
As the hotel is a few miles from the City Centre theres not a geat deal around its surrounding area. When we arrived, my partner and i went for a walk to find something to eat to take back to the hotel as it was late but all the takeaways we went into either didnt understand us or we didnt like the look of the food which had probably been sat out in the heat all day. There was a local supermarket nearby which sold most things. We eventually found a nice, local Italian restaurant literally right across the road from the hotel which we found more than adequate with friendly staff, nice atmosphere and good food at a reasonable price and ate there every night of our stay. Also across the road is a shop that sold the local beer Peroni at 1.50 E so we used to grab a few of those and head back to the hotel after our meal.

really should improve service of some of the receptionists, for example personal was more concerned about their computer problems than helping the guest.
