Hotel St. Moritz

Bottom line is that this is a great hotel if you only want it for sleeping. If you want facilities like a gym, concierge etc.. then this is not for you but if you are sight seeing all day and only come back for sleeping then you won't go far wrong

great location on the main thru road but away from noise, friendly staff, price for quality was excellent

breakfast was very basic, a plate with a roll and croissant was put in front of you but again for the price cannot complain too much. Asking a receptionist to order a taxi back to airport resulted in a non- licensed cab which cost more- walk 10 mins to train station if you want to save 20 euros

Colliseum, Trevi fountain all 15 min walk. Metro 10 min walk Location is central of city

Would have preferred more facilities and next time will gladly pay more to get that.

l'emplacement de l'hôtel était super, pas loin de tout.

Apparemment nous avons eu la pire chambre, les autres étaient refaites. La nôtre était sale, vieillotte, seule la literie était confortable. Et les nuits étaient très bruyantes.

Centrally located within easy walk of the station and some major sights. On main road, but not a problem with the windows and shutters closed (unless a police siren went passed!). We had a family room for 4 which was of a decent size (we were worried that it would be cramped) and the air conditioning was fine (which we needed for end of July!). Good sized bathroom (shower, not bath). Basic but sufficient continental breakfast on the roof garden. Overall better than expected for a fairly reasonably priced hotel in high season.

The staff were excellent, accommodating and extremely pleasant. Maybe access to an English speaking news channel on the satellite TV would have been nice but not really that important.
