This has got nothing to do with the hotel, but we were slightly disappointed with the food in the restaurants we chose. To say this was Italy and pasta is one of their things, to be honest the food is nicer in Bella Italia in the UK. I had a spaghetti one evening which was ordinary at best. Maybe we were unlucky in our choices, but what was lacking foodwise was made up for by the surroundings and the charm of the place.
The St. George is in a very good location. Well within walking distance to lots of attractions. The staff were SO helpful. We went to Rome to celebrate my girlfriends birthday, and we loved the St. George. It has the WOW factor for sure and we'll definitely go back there. The Hotel Manager and staff were brilliant. We came back both days to find a complimentary bottle of wine in our room, which was a nice surprise (even more so the second day!) Also, a lot of hotels I looked at had twin beds. Obviously this is no good. Our room at the St. George however had a fabulous Queen size bed... very nice. We used the spa pool and the sauna which was very good too.
No negative comments at all. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
Piazza Navona is close, with plenty of restaurants along the . The Vatican is very close too, just over the river. The Trevi Fountain and the Colloseum were a bit further to walk perhaps 20-25 mins. We didn't mind walking at all, Rome is lovely. There is an area just a little down the river and over the other side called Santa Maria, which had lots of quaint streets with bars and restaurants. In the evening the place had a lovely atmosphere. Well worth seeking out.

Sehr freundliches, angenehmes Personal; kleines, aber schönes Spa; Lage gut, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten per Fuss zu erreichen

La limpieza de las habitaciones no fue la optima. Siempre encontrabamos vasos sucios de dias anteriores, aun asi cuando se aviso en la recepcion de este incidente.
