Great position and provided everything I needed for a short stay in Bilbao. Fairly easy to reach by car; will probably be even easier when the roadworks are completed.

Would have liked a comfortable chair in the bedroom at the end of a long day.

Near Guggenheim and within easy reach of all other museums/galleries. Riverside walk easily accessible and will take you along to most other attractions without use of a car.

the reception staff didnt have the best english, this wasnt a problem for us as a few people in the group spoke spanish.

The hotel was comfortable, nice and clean, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is very centrally located and is within walking distance of all the sights of Bilbao. The hotel also rents bicycles if you wanted to go further afield, and is very close to a metro station.

Obviously the Guggenheim is THE thing to do. It's an absolutely stunning building and has some fantastic exhibitions and permanent exhibits. The Museo de Belles Artes is another very good gallery with works by Goya and Velasquez, and some very interesting and beautiful Basque artists. There is a museum of Basque culture in the old town which is interesting and well worth a look. The town itself is just very nice to walk around - the old town is lovely and bustling, and there are plenty of bars to sit and take in the life of the town.
