Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was very good and facilities were also good. The hotel is very well situated, right on the beach, with plenty of shops bar and restaurants right outside.

I heard several English holiday makers say that golf at £100 pounds a round; taxi prices to and from the airport, dearer than their return flights;restaurant meals so expensive compared to the UK have made Spain too expensive and they will not be back. We have our third visit of the year to Spain in May but we will certainly look at non 'euro' destinations when we next book a European holiday. We usually have about five European holidays a year.
We enjoyed our short break and were pleased we chose The Sol Cala Blanca. Thankyou for the upgrade to a sea view room as that definitely was a plus. The staff at reception and in the restaurant were polite and efficient. The hotel porter went out of his to speak and opened the door when we came and went.
The 'bubbling enthusiasm' by the staff (excluding the porter) was not seen by us. Last year I commented to you that it stood out in comparison to other hotels that we stay at. The food was 'ok' but nothing to specially reccommend. The cost of the security box at 5 euros a day was taking advantage and far too much. The drinks in the bar were noticeably dearer than the Hotel Santa Lucia When we visited friends.
It is so central to everything that we want, beach, shops, bars, transport and and lovely walks.

Very acceptable hotel. This was our third visit and we will certainly stay at this hotel again. A high standard of customer care is delivered by the hotels staff.

I think the forms for "employee of the year" work for the Company running the hotel and the guests get a brilliant service from all the employees. We stayed at the Hotel Cervantes in Torrimolinos this year(our third stay there). This was also booked with easy jet. One of the receptionists,an 'older woman ' was not a pleasant person. We will never return to The Hotel Cervantes.
