Beautiful room, excellent food, both lunch and breakfast.Felt relaxed throughout. Friendly staff. Easy access to city centre by rail 5mins. Would stay there again.We visit Glasgow regularly, this was our best hotel experience so far.

I thought this was anexcellent hotel - in every . I found the facilities first class, and the staff were exceptionally obliging. I would hsave filled in the first part of the questionnaire, but it was not clear which was best, No. 1 or No 5. If top marks were 5, I would have put 5 in every category.

I was there to attend a wedding at the House for an Art Lover.

Staff were excellent. Friendly and helpful. Room very comfortable and clean. Food was very well prepared. Surrounding inside main building very comfortable
Very poor choice on the menu for vegetarians. Surroundings outside the stable block need to be tidied up. Now there are rooms in the stable block thought needs to be given as to where rubbish containers are. Early morning awakening by rubbish truck not great!
The hotel presents an idyllic picture. As the name suggests it is a small castle situated on a hill. However, the idyll does
not stop there. The very professional staff were friendly and helpful, and, once checked in, escorted us to our family suite
in the the converted stable block. The suite was large and provided all we could need for a family of three. The food was
plentiful and of good quality. A great experience all round.
