We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel, room's are dated but so are a lot of hotels in Malta The food was very nice we had no complaints, the portion size is small, main meals are served on what i would call a salad plate but after having 3 courses it was enough and i am a big eater, there is 2 choices of starter 3 if you count fruit juice, 3 choices of main and 2 choices of sweet, you can also choose off a different menu as there restaurant is open to outside trade as well, you have to pay extra but prices are not to expensive. The price we paid for a weeks half board with a sea view room ( beautiful views ) for 2 of us was only £257 between us not including flights. The room was cleaned every day, the staff are really nice polite and friendly The hotel is quite near the bus station, and Buggiba square isn't far away, there's plenty of shops and bar and restaurants near by Be aware of time share touts near the bus station, the tickets ( youv'e won a holiday) they get all excited oh my god you've won a holiday there's only a couple of these tickets, and then they say that they themselves will get 50 euro's now, and all you have to do is go with them to st pauls bay, they swear its not time share, that you just get the holiday and they get their money, when you get there it is a type of time share, they tell you it won't cost much £180 maintenance a year £59 each time you book your holiday then of course your flights, you can be hard faced sit through their talk and refuse to buy there apartment,(that you only get for one week of the year) the price at the end was extortionate to join there club £27,000 on top of the other prices, for i think 16 years. you think you will get your free holiday at the end but you don't get anything, so don't waste your time with them. We had no intention of buying and we told them that from the beginning, but they weren't very nice at the end, because i think they thought they could sweet talk us. So please be aware of these people and we didn't get the promised free holiday, they gave us a folded leaflet but there was no voucher inside.
I have no negative reviews about this hotel

The hotel has a lift to all floors. Some rooms have lovely sea views although these are more expensive they are worth paying the extra for. There is a small pool at the back of the hotel which can be quite refreshing on a hot day. There are sun loungers as well. The curtains in the rooms are very thick so even in the day time it is dark in the room with them closed and the lights off. The hotel has a bar and restaurant with meals in the evenings and snacks during the day if required.
The reception is not manned 24 hours so beware if going out till the early hours - make sure you have your key. You may have to gain entry through the bar at the front of the hotel if the reception doors are locked. There is no air conditioning in this hotel although there are fans so there are mosquitoes lurking in the rooms. The breakfast is continental and very basic but if you want a cooked breakfast you need to pay 2.50 euros. The hot water is luke warm if you take your shower/bath early in the morning. You have to pay extra for a fridge in your room at 3 euros a day. The TV is all foreign channels and not worth watching.
There are a couple of organised tour companies just a couple of buildings down from the hotel. The tours are varied and the drivers will pick you up from the reception of the hotel. The beach is just across the road although this is not a natural sandy beach. The bus station is a 5 minute walk away from the hotel and you can reach most parts of Malta from here although some places you will need to get a bus to Valletta first. To get to one of the furthest places away ie Marsaxlokk this will take approx 1 hour on the direct bus. There are many restaurants and shops in the area as well as bars.

gentilezza personale, dimensione familiare, vicinanza piccola spiaggia e fermata autobus
