This was the third or even fourth time that I have used this hotel over the years and the fact that I keep returning I think speaks for itself. It is ideally positioned in the very heart of Edinburgh with bus and rail connections a few steps away. The rooms are pleasant and clean. The staff are friendly and efficient. Can't really think of anything else that you could ask of a reasonably priced hotel such as this.

Excellent situation in the centre of Edinburgh. Hotel is in the middle of refrub but very clean and staff very helpful. There was a problem with the water in the morning, clearly not the hotel's fault but we were given a £25.00 refund. Highly recommend this hotel.
Staff very pleasant and helpful. Room very modern and beatifully decorated, very clean.. Perfectly situated for all facilities in the city. Directly opposite Waverley Railway Station. Would most definitely stay again.
Reception area and restaurant quite dated and in need of refurb.
Edinburgh Castle, Edinburgh Dungeons (well worth a visit!), Ediburgh Playhouse, abundance of pubs and restaurants.. Too many other attractions to mention.

Overall a a good experience and hotel I will bear in mind on future Edinburgh visits.
Very good personnel/ service. Decent sized rooms and plenty facilities within wrt food and service. Very convenient to major Edinburgh sites and transport networks (just across road from Waverley station)
Maybe a little threadbare in parts eg carpeting and Edinburgh generally can have high cost at certain times of year. No major negatives
Castle, Princes St and Waverl;ey shopping. Princes St Gardens, Royal Mile, Holyrood and Scot Parliament.

very professional and helpful staff. holding bags before and after check in was a real help. Would stay here again. Even the breakfast staff couldnt do enough for us. Rooms were spacious and very clean
The only thing I would say that was negative was that a) The entrance lobby from the street had an awful fusty smell. b) The carpets throughout need changing. There were pieces of tape holding parts of it together.
Whatever you want you are in the middle of the city with access to evrything within walking distance

I would recommend this hotel to friends for value for money and location to all the sights
Food was very good and a good selection on menu.Staff were very professional and assisted with all our queries. Excellent location for sightseeing and shopping.
Steps leading to reception a bit of a challenge after a long days sightseeing.
Shopping excellent. Royal Mile and Edinburgh castle awesome.Wide selection of restaurants in close proximity to Hotel

Helpful and friendly staff Excellent breakfast Good value Very clean Very good bar food menu
A bit of updating required
We were attending a Rotary National conference and had little time for seeing the sights. However, we will be back for a short break and will probably stay in the Royal British Hotel

Está muy bien situado, en el centro de Edimburgo, resulta muy comoda su ubicación.
