hotel trés propre, personnel trés sympas et gentil.

The food in the hotel was good but due to the drop in the pound against the euro it was expensive to eat in and out. The
hotel looked nice but at close quarters needs repairwork doing to the big settee's (rips in fabric). In general it was nice
and the outdoor pool looked very nice. We will use this hotel again but only in the summer when all its facilities are usable.
We like Torrox as it is not as expensive as Nerja. You can enjoy the pueblo, the old town and it's open square, it has a quite area with nice accommodation in Torrox Park for families, it has a campsite if you want to bring your caravan and there is plenty of nightlife on the costa so you have the best of all worlds. Then it is just a short taxi drive into Nerja for as much night life as you could possibly need. Both my husband, myself and both my son's would recommend it. The Diving is great, the snorkelling is good, horse riding is excellant and they allow you to bring your dog. What more can you need.

We had an appartment, the kitchen equipment was very sparse and made to make you eat in the hotel or in restaurants outside. We were disappointed when they would not let us have a second easy chair for the living room and as there were four of us and one of us had to sit on a diningroom chair. There were only two chairs on the patio and we did not like taking the diningroom chairs outside. We requested 2 more patio chairs and were told we could not have them. The indoor pool which is why we booked this hotel was too cold to swim in and we were not the only people saying it. Once in you had to swim or get out as it was too cold. We tried it at different times of day but it did not change. The evening entertainment was poor.
We have been coming here for the last 10 years and there is a lot to do in the area. We went to the Alhamba Palce, Ski-ing for the day, visited Competa, Maro, Balcon de Europe in Nerja and Frigliana. We went Scottish Country Dancing, used the ladies only Gym, just up the road and enjoyed the walk every morning and evening along the promonade, past the lighthose which is one of the main attractions as it is nice flat area.
