Public areas appeared recently renovated.
Poor check-in - took too long. Single room miniscule, bathroom door would not open fully due to proximity of loo, mini wash-basin akin to something normally found in a caravan, no bath only a shower. The temperature in the hotel was like Death Valley in the height of summer. As a final touch (to fully prevent any relaxation or sleep), the room was apparently situated under the stairs within a noisy stairwell area, sounding as if every person passing on the stairs were actually in the room. A very poor, not to be repeated experience, especially at @£132 for one night with no breakfast!
