While the food is great there is other eating places close by

It is central to all the city ammenitisy

River side walks and the free museams are within walking distance

The hotel is situated in the centre of the city and is very close to the Central Station. The room was comfortable and clean and the breakfast was superb. We shall return to the same hotel and recommend it to our friends who plan to visit Glasgow.

An excellent breakfast choice to suit everyone's taste. [Consider the introduction of both fruite & black puddings to add a "Scottish" flavour.]While the bar area currently meets the needs, it is basic and does not have a "Scottish" flavour to it. In fact, you could be anywhere in Eourpe when in the bar as there are no distinguishing features. Wider choice of draught beers & lagers might also be a consideration.

Having now stayed a No of times, I am disappointed that there is not a loyalty scheme in operation for returning guests and would strongly reccommend this for your consideration as in these "lean" times returning guests/business should not be taken for granted and in fact should be nutured & encouraged by a discounted rate for regular guests.

Glasgow is a vibrant city with great pub-life, lots of museums & galleries as well as a City that boasts a great history. I would strongly reccommend the citytour as Glasgow has some of the best arcitectural buildings & styles in Eourpe. P.S. Entry to museums & galleries are free.

the room size was good and the bed was comfortable

the bath was not very clean and the shower didnt work properly. we had to ask for shower gel as it was empty abd for two more towels as we only had one. the staff were happy to oblige though.

hotel had switched off the fans in bathrooms due to previous complaints by guests about the noise. this meant a very steamy shower and misted mirrors etc. hopefully they will soon replace the fans with quieter ones which can be used, otherwise the bathroom decors will quickly deteriorate. apart from that, a very enjoyable stay, pleasant staff, very clean and ideal for city centre shopping/tourist base. will definately use this hotel again.

Lovely staff and a fabulous atmosphere. Only complaint would be that the walls are very thin.
