Hotel Paganelli

We will be back (but not in the high season)! It was first decade of November and it is quite nice time to visit Venezia (not so many tourists, prices more acceptable ;))

Hotel situated just at the vaporetti station (San Zacarria), near St. Mark's Place, at a very nice, quiet place with very nice service. For us - amaznig place to stay again.

Nearby vaporetti station is a good place to start travelling to Murano, Lido and any other directions. Nice restaturants around, via Garibaldi good to take a walk and taste local ice-creams, drink spritz or taste pizza or frutti di mare. It is 2 minutes from there to Biennale Art Exhibition.

It was a small, friendly hotel. It was quiet and peaceful yet right on the San Marco waterfront. Having the San Zaccaria waterbus stop just in front was so convenient. The staff were very polite. The room and bathroom were small but perfectly adequate and immaculate. We had a small balcony overlooking the back and it was good to be able to open the doors to that. Having air conditioning made it very comfortable for sleeping. Breakfast was in another building very close by and, once again, it was small and friendly and immaculate. The continental breakfast was good and the coffee was pefect. We will certainly be going back again !

Everything is to hand. It is right near to St Mark's Square and the waterbus stops are in front of the hotel so you can choose to go where you want. Perfect position.

I stayed in the annex building a few steps away from the main building. The room did not have a glorious view and was surely not something spectacular, but was cosy, had a retro feel, warm, clean and very good for individual stay and moreover I only needed the room to sleep and I was getting value for money. The sound of the bells reverberated through the alleys and into the room, still living the experience after a week. The best part though is the location. You get off the boat at San Zaccaria and there is the hotel, a couple of minutes walk to San Marco and the Bridge of Sighs can be seen in every mood. Do not have to walk far to catch a glorious sunrise over the Gondolas. The staff are very helpful and very knowledgeable, especially Marco, told me the best places for food and to visit and I was visiting during Christmas when most shops closed. The buffet breakfast had loads of variety and kept me full till lunch even with all the walking. Ask for a map as soon as you check-in.

Hôtel particulièrement bien placé, près de tous les départs des vaporeti? Bien chauffé, chambres rénovées, sanitaires parfaits.

Chambres petites, et petits déjeuners pris dans l'annexe, un peu faibles !

Se promener dans une ville magique, prendre des vaporetti (avec abonnement) pour faire le tour de toutes les îles.

j'ai apprécié la gentillesse du personnel,réception et petit déjeuner,et son professionnalisme. L'hotel est très bien situé, prés des embarcadères et de la place Saint-Marc. Je reviendrais.

Un relookage, peinture claire, des murs de la salle du petit déjeuner et des meubles s'imposerait.
