Hotel Oriental

It is really far out of the city centre. There is not much of anything near or around the hotel. Public transportation is cheap, but it is still kind of a pain. The window in our room was broken.

There's a few places to eat and a couple of sketch bars, but thats about it.

By the incheck the lady told us we could eat until 23.00 hrs, at 22.00 we went to the restaurant and the only thing we could eat was a pizza!!! Sorry but we don't go to Hungary for a pizza!!!!! In the bathroom there was a lot of kalk, the shower was not decent and partly broken...

Nothing in the neighbourhood, after surching for something to eat we found a good restaaurant after approx. 20 minutes somewhere in the background of a street. All buildings in the neighbourhood where dirty, nothing was presentable and there was no amusement at all.

The hotel is functional and very reasonable, the staff are very friendly and helpful. It has a bus stop outside which will take you into the centre of budapest for a modest price (bus no 105 buy tickets in books in town at metro stations) - journey is about 15 - 20 mins depending exactly where you are going, last bus runs back at 11.30 taxi after this time was 4000 ft on average. The room we stayed in had no air con but the staff provided a fan. Beds were functional but certainly not luxury.

The first day we arrived there was no hot water, which was a big minus

le personnel est très sympathique et professionnel . le tramway passe devant l'hôtel donc il est facile de se rendre en ville même si c'est un peu long.

assez excentré de la ville, peu de commerces,restaurant autour. l'hôtel ne réponds pas aux critères qu'il présente en publicité c'est a dire pas de sauna, pas de jacuzzi ou fitness ... les chambres ne sont pas nettoyer tous les jours ni les serviettes de la salle de bains sont changer.

J'ai été surpris en bien, la situation de l'hotel était bonne car situé sur un axe bien déservis par les transports public.
