es como mucho una pension...habitaciones y baños de reducisimas dimensiones

bien comunicado desde el aeropuerto y con el centro de la ciudad

Tras comprobar que nos han robado, poco más se puede decir, sólo que recomendamos a todos que elijan cualquier otro hotel de Amsterdam

Localización muy buena y comunicaciones excelentes: dos líneas principales de tranvía a menos de 50m y a 5 minutos andando de la zona de los museos.

Nos robaron un perfume que estaba DENTRO de un neceser y unas llaves que estaban DENTRO de una maleta, es decir, cosas que no estaban a la vista, por lo que es bastante desagradable comprobar que tu equipaje ha sido "concienzudamente inspeccionado". Por otro lado no había nada de profesionalidad en el personal que servía el desayuno ni obviamente en el personal de limpieza de habitaciones que nos robó.

The food was excellent.

The bins were not emptied. We only had one spare blanket. On the second day we were only given one hand towel. The shower tray didn't empty fast enough.

Iwell located by the main concerthall. The number 16 tram takes you into the centre in about ten minutes. It is quiet and generally comfortable in a tarnished, old fashioned and musty way. This is my third and last visit to this hotel. I have been there 3 times because it is reasonably priced.

On this occasion one two or ( at best ) 3 rooms were occupied which probably explains why the scrambled eggs were pretty cold and uninviting. Ditto the sausages. I was there on 3 nights and on two mornings there was bacon as well: cold, undercooked, fatty. On two occasions I had to ask for a cup into which I could pour my coffee. None had been put out for the guests which I found to be particularly bad. My bathroom did not include a beaker which I had to get for myself from the "restaurant". On all mornings there was no serving spoon for me to help myself to the tinned fruit. My bed was not made as such. It looked to me as if someone had just adjusted the pillow and sheeting minimally and then covered the lot with the bedcover. I gave this the benefit of the doubt on day one and two and it so annoyed me that my bed had not been smoothed that, on the third day I took everything off the bed so that it had to be made properly. It was, after a fashion.

I was able to answer the first two questions because of the recognised words "positive" and " Negative " but have no idea what the Dutch means in this instance. This was my third and last visit to this particular hotel for the reasons stated. Finally, the furnishings, furniture and the paintwork are circa 1960/1970 and, in my view, need to be refurbished. Probably because of the lack of guests ( at this time of year ) I got the impression that the receptionist on duty was doing the lot: cooking the breakfast, "making" the bed ( if that is the right word for it" ). On my first morning there, there was a young man on duty in the breakfast area. He is the same young man who, in August 08, I saw putting out more cheese slices from a packet, with his hand which I thought then was unhygienic.

Although the hotel was a little further from where we orginally wanted to stay the proximity of the tram stop made moving around the city so good. Was a lovely hotel and well worth the money.

This is not a 4 star hotel as led to believe. Rooms are very small - check in time not provided,Will not use again - far better paying the extra for quality. At best this may pass as a 2 star hotel

Estuvimos recientemente en este hotel, el personal es simpático y agradable, el chico de recepción nos indicó al llegar los lugares para visitar en Amsterdam, nos dió mapas, información para alquilar bicicletas, sobre museos. etc. No hablan español como en casi ningún lugar de Amsterdam, pero en inglés no hay problema ninguno, todos te entienden y son pacientes. El hotel en si es muy sencillo, el mobiliario es de estilo bastante antiguo, pero en general la habitación estaba bien. Eso si, si buscas lujo, ¡este no es tu hotel! Mi habitación era pequeña y el baño también, tenía tele (no hay canales españoles), secador, teléfono e internet gratis por wifi. Leí muchas críticas acerca de las campanas de la iglesia de enfrente, como la ventana es de doble cristal no hemos oido absolutamente nada. Tienen calefacción en las habitaciones. La limpieza, bueno, no me gustan las moquetas porque dan impresión de sucio, pero sí que pasaban la aspiradora todos los días y limpiaban el baño. Tienen desayuno incluido en el precio que no está mal para la categoría de hotel que es, había pan, fruta, cereales, yogur, zumos y luego salchichas, bacon, tortilla y huevos fritos, además de café y te. Está muy bien comunicado, desde el aeropuerto puedes coger un autobús desde la terminar B11, el 197, tienes que bajarte en la parada Museumplein que está a unos 200 metros de hotel, tarda sobre unos 25 minutos en llegar. Andando hasta la red de canales hay unos 15 minutos, y si no está perfectamente comunicado con los tranvías 2 y 5 que te dejan en el centro. Está a 5 minutos andando de varios museos y el VondelPark. A 15 minutos andando está Overtoom, donde podéis alquilar un coche. En resumen, es un hotel para lo que es, dormir en un sitio limpio y poco más. Para el precio que tiene está más que bien, Amsterdam es una ciudad bastante cara.
