First opened in 1890, this is one of the oldest hotels in Naples. Located at the gateway to the heart of ancient Naples, this city hotel enjoys the best location of the hotel in Naples' historical centre. Porta Capuana and Porta Nolana are in the immediate vicinity, and guests will find restaurants, bars and the bus station within a 2-minute walk, while the train station and shops are a 5-minute walk away. The sea is a 10-minute drive from the historical hotel and the Archaeological Museum is around 2 km away. The ruins of Ercolano and Pompei are 10 km and 25 km away, respectively, and Naples Airport is around 3 km from the hotel.

The hotel is situated next to Naples central station (Piazza Garibaldi). Guests can reach the hotel in 10 minutes from the airport by taxi, private bus ('Alibus') or public bus number 14, 15 or S3, which run directly to Piazza Garibaldi. From Piazza Garibaldi, go towards Corso Garibaldi and hotel is just a few metres away. By car, take the 'Napoli Stazione' exit from the 'Autostrada'.
