Hotel NH Nice

Habitación amplia y cama muy cómoda. .

Hotel algo retirado del centro. El personal de recepción no es muy amable.

ni tan siquiera habia el kit basico de entrada en la habitacion como hay en todos los hoteles nh. varias de las de recepcion desagradables.

We had a lovely room In NH Nice for my partner and I staying for 2 night it was perfect.We particularly enjoyed the pool area after a long day sightseeing.Location was ideal as near the tram line.Breakfast and bar staff were lovely and friendly too.

Unfortunatly we were a bit disapointed with the attitude of one of the receptionists.Nicola a male with fair hair and glasses.We requested info from him several times and on all occasions he acted as though we were asking unreasonable questions.ie.can we buy a bottle of water anywhere?Where do we catch the tra?.I understand there are cultural differances however I work for an airline and never have difficulty comunicating with all cultures.As he was the first person we met on arrival we were a bit concerned we had made the right decision.They rest of our stay made up for our concern tho.

Hotel was very centrally located and staff were very polite especially Ulysses who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable regarding local amenities. Hotel was kept very clean and tidy.

Unfortunatley the Pool was closed due to maintenance and I had yet to see someone working on the pool. I was informed by reception that they had an arrangement with a private beach at a reduced cost, but I had to get on a tram, at my own expense, and also finance the sunbed, towels etc. This was not an option for me, as I had only recently had heart surgery and could not manage to walk very far or take the risk of being knocked on a tram. I asked if it was possible to use a sunbed but was refused and I did not want to spend my 5 days having to stay in my hotel room. The whole reason I chose this hotel was not only for it's reputation but the roof top pool area as I was recovering from surgery and this seemed ideal for my requirements and my husband was there on business. Unfortunately my husband became very ill on the Saturday night after eating dinner in the roof-top restaurant. He had sardines as his main meal and about 2-3 hours after eating he was vomitting all night which did not stop and we were due to fly home on the sunday and he managed to get on the flight but on Tuesday he was still vommitting and was taken to A

Da es bei der Verfügbarkeit der Zimmer zu Problemen kam, wurde uns seitens des Hotels ein kostenloses Upgrading in die nächste Kategorie angeboten, das wir auch annahmen (5 Zimmer gebucht - nur 4 für die 1. Nacht verfügbar. Ab 2. Nacht hatten wir 5 Zimmer inclusive den upgegradeten Zimmern - Super!

Staff were excellent and the restaurant food was good.

Not the best location - opposite a bus park and next door to an exhibition centre.

Take the train to Monte Carlo from the nearby station. Take the excellent trams to the Old Town and other attractions. It stops quite close to the Promenade des Anglais.

The Villa Victoria Hotel is at an ideal location, just 10 minutes from the stoney beautiful beach, excellent for sun-lounging and swimming, the staff were so helpful and professional. The room was excellent and the baby cot comfortable.The garden provided a relaxing environment for us and our 5 month old baby. I would have liked to see some vegetables, for examples tomatoes and cucumber for breakfast, a wider variety of fruits and muesli. Apart from this everything else was excellent
