    Stayed here a couple of times but not for two years. It is now better. The restaurant has been upgraded and the breakfast experience is much better. Will be booking again shortly. Well done!

    Hotel is located near the Lion monument about a 10 - 15 minute walk from the train station. The location is fine as Lucerne is a small city and very easy to walk around the streets of the old town. The breakfast offered a good selection of both hot and cold.

    The hotel does not have air conditioning. This may be a consideration for those travelling in the height of summer.

    We went on the trip to Mount Pilatus. It involved a 90 minute boat ride, then a trip on the steepest cog wheel railway in the world. If the weather is fine there is a fantastic view of the surrounding area from the top. Then on the way down go via the cable car.
