Our 4th time at the hotel and will certainly stay again. Great location and social history. Everyone should visit at least once.

Spacious rooms and public areas, very good breakfast, quiet and very scenic location
Unable to control heating levels - room too hot. Shower water coming out in a more or less solid stream - uncomfortable, and awkward for washing hair. Music in breakfast restaurant was at a good level of volume until some classical music played that I wanted to hear - when it was considerably reduced in volume!

Room very spacious.
Would be better if double glazing on the windows which would have lessened the sound of the rapid flowing river.

large comfortable room and bathroom good breakfast , would not hesitate to book again.
we had trouble contacting them by phone before our visit.
