La decoracion y enmoquetado de los pasillos no se corresponde con las cinco estrellas que luce el hall de entrada del Hotel.

Nearby nothing to do. Distances to the airport and the citycenter are not far. The airportshuttle (every 20 min) takes you to the airport (5 min) and there you can go with the "travelcard" received at the hotel upon check-in at no extra cost to the city by train or public bus.

The room was a good size with all the facilities required

There was work being done the floor below and this resulted in banging til 7pm at night and started at 7.30am the next morning. There was work being done outside the hotel and this led to very loud noise - when I complained I was told there was nothing they could do. This was very frustrating as if I had known about it I would have moved to another hotel that night

The hotel is only a few minutes drive from Geneva Airport with a free bus shuttle service (but not mentioned on booking or signposted at airport - we only found out on making our own enquiries). The hotel is very clean and the restaurants served lovely food at the cheapest price we found in Switzerland on our 10 day trip. Bedrooms very large and comfortable. The breakfast was extremely good with a great choice. The hotel also had tea making facilities in the room.

We were only there for one night but was not informed at check in of maintenance work being carried out near our room. It was noisy for an hour or so after check in and also from about eight thirty in the morning. Whereas we were not tired and was using the hotel as an overnight before our travel back home the next day - anyone who had travelled through the night would had had trouble getting some peaceful sleep.

Not known as we did not venture out. But the hotel literature said that the old town of Geneva was only a short drive away.

Bathroom was small. Casino is very smokey! Gym does not open until 10.30am on weekends!

As in most cities, keep an eye open for pickpockets, especially around the train station.

A lovely spacious room with excellent facilities and an extremely comfortable bed. We arrived at 20:00 after a full seven days skiing so were somewhat fatigued so were looking forward to an early night! The shower was well designed and had just enough power to soothe our aching limbs and the Bogder products were a nice aromatic touch. We each chose a New York Burger which was well presented and very tasty. Finally we slept very well in our comfortable beds.

The hotel is primarily for airport travellers - there is a shuttle to the airport every 15 mins. Adjacent to the airport is the Palexpo trade centre which hosts events such as the Geneva Car Show - this is just a 3 minute walk from the airport. Finally if you have sufficient time (3-4 hours), a trip into Geneve is worthwhile. The SBB train station is just two minutes from the airport and a 3CHF ticket will get you into the city in 3-4 minutes. All trains leaving the airport stop at Geneve, so you will not have to wait long for the next one. The 3CHF ticket lasts one hour, so you could always get on the number 9 bus (Petit Bel Air) which in less than ten minutees takes you down Rue Mont Blanc, across Pont Mont Blanc (with views of the famous Jet d'Eau) and left along Rue de Rhone for the designer stores. (Walking right down Due de Rhone takes you to the watches and diamonds!) Get off at Place des Eaux Vives and cross over two roads in the direction of UBS and you'll find yourself on the Rive Gauche of the lake (Quai Gustav Ador). A pleasant stroll amongst the yachts will take you to the actual Jet d'Eau under which you can walk if you feel brave enough! Continue on with the lake on your left and you'll eventually reach the Petit Plage - fun for children on the rope swings. Returning with the lake on your right, go past the Jet d'Eau and you'll soon enter the Jardin d'Anglais. This contains the largest floral clock in the world and is situated at the far end where it meets Pont Mont Blanc - with your back to the bridge, look across the busy road towards Mont Blanc Pens on the opposite left hand corner - as you walk towards the crossing, the flower clock is right behind you! From Pont Mont Blanc, it is a ten minute walk back to the train station. Walk straight across the road at Tag Heuer and past the Post Office, where the road splits, take the right fork.

The food and service was good in the french restaurant

we booked a room for three .... only two beds was there... we had to phone reception for another. for a 5 star hotel the rooms need to be updated. we stayed in 916 look for yourself!!!!
