Nice rooms. Good location. Good value for money.
Disappointed to find that having ordered from a snack menu and ordering a drink, after waiting for almost half an hour we were informed that the food was not available as they were waiting for a new chef to replace the one who had left. We then asked if they had any bar snacks. Only crisps on offer were Pringles which we hate. Asked if they had any nuts. They didn't have any. All we were offered was a bowl of chips which was not what we had in mind.Cannot believe a hotel of this standard had nothing by of bar snacks, and why did the wine take half an hour to be served. Very unimpressed !

Nice central location great staff ,
the kichen was out of order on the sat so we had to go out for dinner , went to Browns as recomended by the waitress had a great meal x

I thought the hotel was looking a bit tired and in need of re-decoration. The lining paper was coming off the roof in my room and there were a large number of marks on the walls.

Staff were very friendly,helpful, and provided an excellent service. Reception, bar area, and restaurant were in excellent order and very relaxing.
Room requires redecorating. Paintwork was shabby, and wallpaper was peeling off the ceiling. Glass on the window was cracked! and in need of replacement.

very good location requested upgrade for our anniversary and was thrilled with our room. We had our baby with us so we were delighted with the extra space. The complimentery wine was also a lovely surprise.
would have liked if the hotel provided a babysitter

Staff were very polite and professional, Breakfast was excellent,Very good location.
Understand that it is an old building but Room was dingy, very noisy air conditioner !! all night, TV did not work, In fact I was very disappointed we go to Glasgow on A regular basis and the fact the this was a four star hotel even though and we got a reduced rate overall I still felt let down .
