Smart room. Very clean. Air conditionning is appreciated in august during hot days.
No free wifi access. For this kind of hotel, free wifi access should be the minimum.

The beautifully renovated hotel is situated in a quiet alley within walking distance of the major museums, the city center and shopping streets. There is a nice, typically Dutch restaurant right across the street-the Piet de Leeuw-where we enjoyed a delicious dinner. We will definitely visit again, preferably in springtime when the flower season starts and there is less rain.
There is the marvellous Riijksmuseum, which is under reconstruction now, but there are enough masterpieces on display in an open wing of the museum to more than justify a visit. Then there is the Van Gogh Museum - plan at least 3 hours for a visit - it is just gorgeous. If you care for classical music there is the Concertgebouw. The Rembrandthuis and Willet Holthuysen Museums are also within walking distance if the weather is fine-you can enjoy the beautiful houses on the various Grachten on the . Then there is the new Eremitage Museum which I also recommend highly.
