Meininger Hotel Berlin Tempelhofer Ufer

Overall I liked it. Although I found no better. For its price if you are very good

Cleaning. The change of towels. They said they would have been 4 beds and two beds and a bunk

Meininger offers fabulous value for money and is a perfect place to stay for those who are happy to have clean, simple, basic rooms with an en suite, coupled with an excellent eat-as-much-as-you-can buffet breakfast.

An exceptionally warm welcome from Alex the manager. This is a much smaller Hotel than the Meininger across the road in Hallesches Ufer where we have also stayed, but much more personal and equally as convenient. Excellent breakfasts, informal atmosphere and very well located with u-bahn nearby. Clean and efficient. Superb fast free wi-fi internet. Would use this hotel again.

Our room was right at the front of the hotel and adjacent to the road, so was a bit noisy at night because windows had to be left open for ventilation in the hot weather. Room was a bit smaller than across the road but perfectly fit for purpose. A bit noisy one night as one antisocial group did not stick to the recommended curfew!

Many major attractions are within walking distance. Potsdamer Platz, Checkpoint Charlie, Brandenburg Gate, Tiergarten, Reichstag, Judisches Museum, Unter den Linden and the spectaular shopping malls of Friedrichstrasse. The laid back and colourful centre of Kreuzberg is easily reached on foot and a wide variety of eating available. Bicycle hire just around the corner, post office across the road and basic shops nearby.

Hier glänzt das Hotel mit seiner Lage. Der Rest ist für den Preis aber auch OK.

Als ich des Nachts in mein Bett wollte, lag da schon einer drin. Leider wird einem nicht sein Bett genannt, sondern nur die Raumnummer. Es hätte aber auch EINE in meinem Bett liegen können, als ich kam, somit kann sowas mal vorkommen ;)
