Hotel Medium Abalon

Perdona por mi parco espanhol.... pero ha gostado muitissimo de Barcelona e me voy a volver em 2011. gracie.... gracias.... marçal

su situacion acerca de av gaudin e dos metros. carrer tranquila, buenos personal del trabajo.

habitaciones de fumadores acerca das de no fumadores, e lo humo invade las otras, no seo se per lo aire condicionaire o por lo sobre o techo, pero incomoda sobremucho nosotros no fumadores.

muchos sitios mui ricos como la sagrada familia, lo hospital, varios bares, cafes e carrer tranquila de passeo a peaton.

Se estropeó el ascensor el domingo al mediodía. El lunes por la mañana no lo habían reparado. Tuvimos que bajar las maletas por las escaleras.

Habitación pequeña, los colchones para tirar YA a la basura, el olor del baño nauseabundo. A las ocho de la mañana las limpiadoras hacían un ruído insoportable arrastrando las camas por las baldosas. Se escuchaba todo en las habitaciones de al lado, cisterna, conversaciones, etc.

La opinión acerca del hotel es relativamente bueno porque la verdad se esperaba peor al ser sólo de una estrella. Pero se puede decir que es un hotel normal, limpio, pequeñito pero con unas habitaciones ok, etc... El buffet de desayuno no es ningún gourmet pero tiene todo de lo básico (cereales, bollería, tostadas, cafe, leche, cola cao y zumo de naranja).

Unser Zimmer war leider im Erdgeschoß mit Fenster in de den Hinterhof - ansonsten war das Zimmer OK und sehr sauber.

Durch gute Lage nahe zur U-Bahn ist alles gut zu erreichen. 10 Minuten zu Fuß zur Sagrada Familia.

The location of the hotel was excellent - very safe area and very close to underground station. The staff were very polite and helpful and the continental breakfast included was very good. The rooms were compact and basic but clean. The room was very quiet even though we were next to the lift. There was no traffic noise or pedestrian noise during the night. We got exactly what we paid for and it was value for money.

We were on the top floor and the smell of drains was intense first thing in the morning. The room was very basic and the windows opened fully inwards and were about six feet square. I would have been terrified if travelling with a child as it would have been very easy for them to fall out.

Lots of bars and restaurants where the spanish eat. Food was reasonable and of a good quality with varied menus. I was robbed whilst in Barcelona and the police told us to stay near to our hotel as it was one of the safest areas of Barcelona. The hospital St Pau, 100yds from hotel is well worth a visis and the Familia can be seen from the top of the road and is a short walk away down a pedestrianised area.

Squashed 3 beds in a double room. Hotel should not sell 3 person rooms if this is what they do. Barely enough room to move

Hotel was clean, breakfast was adequate, hotel was quiet and easy to locate.

Very convenient location for Metro and just a few minutes stroll to Sagrada Familia. Tiled floors and the heels of ladies shoes can be a bit noisy. A reasonable place to stay if visiting for two or three days, staff friendly and helpful. The taxi fare from the airport is 25/30 euros
