POR SU UBICACIÓN ES GENIAL PARA DISFRUTAR PLENAMENTE DE LA MAGNIFICA PLAYA DE EL MEDANO, LA ATENCION DEL PERSONAL, LIMPIEZA Y COMIDA MUY BIEN. RECOMENDABLE A CUALQUIER PERSONA.

Upon our arrival we were placed in a first floor room with street view (noisy pizzeria just in front of our windows). Next day we changed the room, however, were charged extra for it. During our stay other guests complained about the same problem.

Although this hotel is clearly old, and room facilities are not up to modern standards,it has it's own charm, with helpful and friendly staff. The restraunt offered a good selection of food. We were half board and enjoyed breakfast and evening meal, this is excellent, considering the price and the fact it is a rolling buffet. The location of Hotel Medano is second to none in the whole of Tenerife. there are rumours that local authorities are trying to close this hotel down. This would be tragic as it is a unique establishment and should be protectected as the oldest surviving hotel in South Tenerife. The Hotel is multi cultural and age group. Die Lage des Hauses ist ok.Lobby ok.

Speisesaal hat den Charme einer Kantine aus den 80igern.Kein Service, man muss sich den Tisch selbst eindecken. Personal ist nur am Verkauf von Getraenken interessiert. Fruehstueck miserabel,Buffet am Abend nicht besser. Essen nicht richtig warm, bereits um 18.45 Uhr lau, Salate eisakalt und nicht frisch.Der Koch sollte sich besser darum kuemmern, vielleicht auch etwas abwechslungsreicher und frischer die Speisen bereiten. Zimmer: Nachdem mir ein Zimmer mit Blick auf die gegenueberliegende Hauswand angeboten wurde, musste ich fuer den Meerblick extra pro Tag € 25,00 abdruecken.Zimmer spartanisch, Doppelbett, keine richtigen Bettdecken, Pferdedecken, die wohl auch nicht laufend gewaschen werden. Zerschlöissene Bettwaesche,Handtuecher. Kein Foehn, 1 Stuhl,TV. Der Sagfe ist so ungeschickt angebracht, dass man sich auf den Bauch legen muss, um an den Safe zu kommen, schliesst schlecht,Techniker musst kommen. Dies auch fuer €2,50 pro Tag. Hoteölbar: Angebot nicht besonders attraktiv, Saefte aus der Buechse, zu teuert! Das Haus ist schlecht gefuehrt, die Geschaeftsleitung scheint das nicht gut im Griff zu haben.

des soucis pour le parking, même prix qu'un quatre étoiles. la salle de restauration nous rappelle un pu la cantine,une lumière moins agressive serait la bienvenue
