no tenían registrada que la reserva era de dos habts y no de una como nos indicaron teniendo que esperar a resolver la cuetión con un hotel repleto.

Pool, sauna and gym excellent.

Attentive staff. Easy to find and in a delightful setting - except for the oil refinery down the road. Qiuet location.

Needs a bit of a clean up, i.e. paintwork and carpets. Shaving mirror was unusable because of the positioning of the bathroom lights.

Easy access to Edinburgh and the Falkirk Wheel.

We were treated appallingly by the staff of this hotel. When we arrived, the receptionist told us that the occupant of our room had over-stayed and that under Scottish law they could not be asked to leave. We were offered what was described as a very small double room, but was clearly a small single room, which had half-heartedly been disguised as a 'small double' by placing 2 pillows on the single bed. There remained 1 cup and saucer, 1 towel etc. in the tiny room. No attempt was made to compensate or to placate us and we were told that if we did not accept the room we would be 'out-booked'.

Clean hotel, beautiful grounds

I arrived at the hotel and was told that there was not a room available for me. I was then given a map and told to find a random alternative hotel in the middle of the country. I was told that the alternative hotel had the same facitilies but in actual fact, the alternative hotel's facilities were greatly reduced.

Quality and selection of buffet breakfast menu (weekends) was no star rating. There was no redeeming quality apart for the excellent staff.
