la relacion calidad precio es estupenda.la situacion es muy buena.Pero sobre todo destacaría el excelente trato recibido de todos y cada uno de los miembros del personal con los que nos hemos relacionado.

Concierge was excellent, spa facilities excellent, if there were any issues these were sorted straightaway with goodwill gestures

Dinner service was poor, our party was 16 in total a hen party, the time taken between courses was unacceptable

The hotel was very nice and the staff welcome excellent. Both the lady on reception and the Concierge were very helpful. Both the room and bathroom were very clean. Marks on the carpet in the room did take away a bit from the effect of the room but on the whole a very nice hotel and definitely would stay there again. Excellent location and very easy to find.

No issues with the hotel.

They use an absurd system of having a 'waiting list' for breakfast which is no good if you have a meeting to catch. Also bar staff a bit cantankerous.

Wonderfully clean. Staff were excellent, especially Yon in the restaurant - nothing was too much trouble even though they were very busy! Thank you Yon and everyone else at Macdonald Holyrood!

None - everything was lovely.

Lovely place to walk around. Lots of places to see. We walked up Calton Hill and the view was wonderful! Buses are very cheap and frequent. We got a bus to Roslyn Chapel and it only cost us £3 each because you can get a £3 all day bus ticket and get on almost any bus around the town. If we had had more time we would have got the bus to see the Royal Yacht Britannia! All in all we had a very lovely time!

Room service dinner was nice. Bathroom was very nice too.

Check-in & concierge desk understaffed & slow. Room service forgot to ask for room number so food only arrived after I'd chased it up then still had to be cooked. Morning papers ordered were absent but delivered very quickly when asked. TV in room - low quality old set difficult to see from bed. No mini bar. I expected a higher standard of service & room facilities for this rate.

Great bar food up the road at the corner of the Cowgate/Pleasance/St Mary's Street - Holyrood 9A I think it was called - busy but the food was first class and extremely well priced & service very friendly and helpful. Lamb sausages in pitta bread with tzatziki highly recommended!

it would have been good to have the complimentary tea and coffee renewed in the room without having to contact house keeping

best hotel i have stayed in. lovely rooms,staff,food ,swimming pool and eveything else.as close to perfect as you can get.
