Do not go to the Osteria near the Hotel (on the same streeet that is). The people there were very unfriendly and only had 2 types of pasta to choose from.
Very nice staff, very nice location. Breakfast was served at the time chosen by us (my husband and I).
The room was too cold. The ceramic tiles on the floor and the inadequate heating (just one heater that was turned on and off by the staff) made me catch a cold.
Visit the SS Giovanni e Paolo Church near the hotel. It's huge and very very nice.

If visiting Venice, find out when the 'high water' is. Streets are prone to be covered in water so you'll need to pack some wellies!!
The staff could not be more helpful. We were struggling to find it and the person on duty came to meet us personally. Very quiet and the beds were very comfortable. The room was very clean and well presented. The location of tyhe hotel meant that we were able to walk everywhere.
Request a map or directions from the hotel prior to going there.
The location is very central - able to walk anywhere. If you'd rather get transport, there is a water bus stop within 10 minutes walk.

Nous avons été accueilli chaleureusement dans cet hôtel. Le personnel parle le français et l'anglais, c'est toujours sympa. A Venise, les gens sont charmants sauf ceux qui vous accostent en pleine rue pour vous attirer dans leur resto (là attention à l'arnaque). Sinon, déjeuner copieux servi au lit, propreté dans la chambre et sdbains et pas trop de bruit la nuit (il faut bien se dire qu'on est là-bas pour visiter la ville, les musées, les petites îles donc le souper, on le prend tard et on se couche vers 23H30.Une seule petite chose à noter : qques indications supplémentaires pour trouver l'hôtel plus facilement seraient peut-être à prévoir sinon hôtel bien situé.on a passé un excellent séjour, on y reviendra.

friendly and welcoming
no place to get a coffee at the hotel after a long journey. Also directions to the hotel given on the web page were not very clear or helpful

Hotel con encanto, sencillo. Apto para descansar tras el día turístico. Excelente atención del personal. Rico desayuno subido a la habitación.
El único pero si vas con niños sería la falta de TV.
Plaza con terrazas, calles con restaurantes y tiendas. A diez minutos paseo de S. Marco y Rialto.
