Hotel Le Meridien Piccadilly

Great experience and very helpful and friendly staff. I would highly recommend Le Meridien Piccadilly.

We traveled with our little boy 16 mnths, on arrival no cot av. had to go back to reception at 6:30 after they had delivered the cot but with no bedding. We decided to have a drink and feed our son after using the pool and went to the bar, we tried to obtain a high chair but the bar staff not very accomadating and informed us that they did not have a high chair. When I questioned that a hotel this size did not have high chairs they informed me that they only had two within the whole hotel, if this is the case they should advertise they are not child friendly. The service at the bar was also very poor we sat waiting for a good ten minutes for somebody to take a drinks order, after serveral people arrived after us were served.The afternoon tea allow nice we again were sat in a corner at a table that had not been made, tea arrived but without cups, then asked for milk, then asked for sugar. The location of the Hotel is great however feel that the hotel is not child friendly, also we have stayed at a number of 5 star hotels across the world and this is the worst service we have received, not sure if it was because we had a child?

We thought the hotel was fab, service rooms clenliness, staff very helpfull. Breakfast was lovely.

We had afternoon tea, which was very nice, but the sandwiches were very dry, I think they had been made earlier and not covered, if you make them earlier why not cling film them before you serve them, there is several comments on trip advisor about the tea not being good, I however decided to book it and see for myself so the sandwiches were my only gripe, the rest was lovely.

Luxury and superb location.

At the higher end of the price range - but worth it!

The hotel facilities are fantastic, I enjoyed a lovely swim and steam room before breakfast.

The rooms windows had wind whistling through them all night, this is something you expect from a seaside bed and breakfast not from a top hotel in London that cost a lot of money.
