Built in 1786 by William Inglis who was later the Provost of Inverness. The original house is the heart of the hotel. Some kilometers from the city centre and the River Ness, the Kingsmills has tastefully and yet sympathetically extended over the years to open as a luxury Inverness hotel in 1947. Concierge Service is available all day.

The standard rooms face onto the gardens, giving peace and privacy at the hotel with extensive open views round 2 hectares of beautifully landscaped grounds. Classic decor and en-suite bathrooms, supplied with bathing products, soft, fluffy towels and separate baths and showers.
