Simple rooms, spotlessly clean bedding. Staff multi-lingual and very helpful in all aspects. Get in early for breakfast, though! If you do it is quite varied, cereal, scrambled eggs, variety of cut meats (all pork), local cheeses. For people who feel the cold in winter, the central heating is exceptional. I had to turn mine off and the heat emanating up from downstairs was quite sufficient to keep the room cosy enough for me.
Some people complained about the noise from other guests or from the street, but I must say that I slept like a log on the 2nd. floor.
Just a short walk from many of the most interesting places. In fact, we didn't get a travel card until the last day (when we had already walked our socks off!).

Quiet area, close to the centre.
The air condistioning sounded like a bus terminal with all engines running

neither bad nor good. just a room for the night.

Very good hotel for that price.
Only minro thing is that it was a little bit noisy (no good sound isolation) but probably because I'am a very light sleeper.

A basic hotel which could be very nice. Breakfast service needs vast improvement as does some aspects of cleanliness.
Nice staff, very friendly. Good location.
The breakfast was, as I read on other reviews awful. Despite being on the third floor, I also noticed ants crawling up the plug hole in my shower. I notified the cleaner who was not very helpful. Also, the bedsheet appeared dirty on first inspection although the room was generally good.
Close to central Pest tourist locations and Deak Ter for transport. Spinoza cafe very close, very nice. Trollybus stops just around the corner and 5 minutes from the synagogue. Good amenities.

Very friendly staff. Very positive response to my request to supply flowers for my wife's birthday, with a bottle of sparkling wine kindly provided gratis by the hotel
The layout and structure of the building means that guests returning late at night almost inevitably create noise to disturb other earlier sleepers. The hard floors and lack of carpeting is the main issue, but also late arrivals should be asked to keep their voices down.

The food really was abysmal. An awful breakfast - I found it hard to find anything decent to eat. The juice and coffee were disgusting and a lot of the cold meat was spam - made me think it was a Monty Python hotel! The hotel really needs to raise its game on the food front
