Staff was excellent and helpful and pleasant. They spoke excellent english and were very patient. I had to leave for an early plane at 0400 and they prepared a speciai lunch for me to take with me. This is one of the kindest things that anyone did for me the entire time that I was in Ukraine.
All of the Kiev center square shops and sites were in walking distance, it was wonderful and there were lots of things to do and see. Kiev is beautiful and where the hotel is is especially beautiful.

The Hotel Kreshchatyk is conveniently situated in the centre of Kiev. The staff were friendly, and thankfully spoke good English. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Breakfast offered a good selection of food.
The hotel is on Kreshchatyk, one of the main shopping streets in Kiev. It is only a minute's walk from Independence Square, which is the main focal point of the city centre. The metro is situated in the Square. Lots of cafes and bars are also located in or near the Square and on Kreshchatyk. Dynamo Kiev's football stadium is a few minutes' walk around the corner, and behind that are beautiful parks overlooking the Dnipro river.

Excellent localization, central, close to the main places of interest and to the undergroung
Upper levels haven't been renovated yet Room was clean but the furniture looks very old fashioned and damaged
