Could do with more than 3 lifts. Sometimes you waited a long time.
Good location to Newcastle city centre, nice breakfast, good rooms, easy to find
Very much a hotel for couples and groups going into Newcsatle for a night out. Quite noisy/rowdy throughout the evening and night. Fire alarm was set off deliberately leading to everyone being evacuated from the building at 4am. Okay if you are wanting a night on the town, but extremely unsuitable for families/older guests.
Lots - right in the centre so easy access to Newcastle attractions/night life

The overbook the hotel, did noty have a room and put us in a very shabby 3 star by the central station. Not staisfactory at all.

The hotel was well located and the rooms were clean and comfortable
Our room overlooked a main road and we could hear traffic all night. This hotel was geared to big groups- stag parties etc which kept us up until 4am, until a fire alarm was set off due to misuse of equipment, by one of the guests This was a nice hotel with friendly staff, spoilt only by the guests. I would not recommend this hotel for familiees, couples or people wanting a nice relaxing break.
The hotel was close to the city centre and the train station.

We booked the hotel before Xmas but when we arrived at the hotel the hotel had over booked and we were being moved to another hotel. We picked Jurys Inn as it was opposite Metro Radio Arena, although we were only moved 10 mins further away, surely the main principal of running a hotel is to ensure you have enough rooms for everyone. No compensation was offered for the huge inconvenience.

The breakfast was nice
The security guard was horribly because me and my partner didn't take both our pass out with us on the night out, so i need prove myself at the reception. Im sorry but I travel all over the world but never had a problem like this. I won't be returning.

I am the Chief Executive of a company with regular business in Newcastle. Two of our employees stayed in your hotel but I was transferred to The Thistle. All pretty careless and inconvenient.
The Assistant Manager was very apologetic and provided me with a complimentary drink while I was waiting to be shipped off to another hotel.
Never got the chance to find out as I was overbooked.

The hotel did manage to find us a room in another hotel so were polite and helpful.
We did not actually get to stay in the hotel which was pretty frustrating. Jury's Inn did not know whose fault this was but the booking was not on their system so we were moved to another hotel. This hotel was ok but not in the same location and also the room wasn't the greatest with no view.
