Hotel Jazz

Lovely hotel in a great location especially if you use the Aerobus from the airport. It's a 5 minute walk from either Universitat or Placa De Catalunia. Staff very helpful and pleasant. We thoroughly enjoyed the bar on the rooftop, it's like a sanctuary away from the hustle of the City.

We did not eat breakfast at the hotel, but locally found a cafe that did 2 croissants 1 coffee and and orange juiced for 5 Euros. Also the sandwich bar next door was good value at lunch time

The room was very clean and a good size. It had an excellent bathroom and large double bed. The staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English. The hotel is located close enough to La Rambla to be a short walk away while far enough to be away from the noise. The transfer from the airport to Pl. D Catalunya via aerobus is about 30 mins and the walk from the square to the hotel is 5-10 mins and very straightforward. There are underground train (metro) stations very close by. In fact there's one literally about 100 yards away.

You can feel the shake as an underground train passes beneath the hotel, but we didn't notice it once at night.

La Rambla is only a few 100 yards away and the easy access to the Metro means it's easy to get about. We stayed 3 days and bought a Metro pass for 10 journeys which took us to all the major sites. There's a little cafe next door which sells coffees, alcohol and food all for reasonable prices.

Only negative is directly located over a metro line and you can occasionally hear the metro.

5 minutes from La Rambla, 15 minutes walk to seafront, many restaurants and bars within a few minutes. Excellent transport links. 2 mins Universitat metro and 5 mins Catalunya.

Excellent, clean hotel, modern, large bedrooms. Excellent facilities, nice swimming pool on rooftop. Staff excellent and very good English. Breakfast vast. Excellent location to everything you would want in Barcelona. Have stayed twice and would stay again and highly recommend to anybody. 100ò0
