Great Room, Great locatin

Breakfast was quite bad. Didn't want to eat dinner in hotel restaurant which was good as it did not seem to be open in the evenings

Go to the Rhine and play frisbee, hop on the underground and go to the "centre" of the nightlife.

Great location , The bar in the Hotel is a lovely starting point for a relaxing beer. The bartender seems to take pride in what he does.

This is the second time i have stayed at the Hotel and both times i have found the reception staff to be rude and abnoxious. They seem to be rude to English visitors in general. I'm not sure why as i am a German speaker but i noticed this from 7 other friends who stayed.

Buy a day ticket for the train and visit other towns nearby eg Köln, Mönchen Gladback and Aachen.

Good breakfasts, great variety. Central to railway station and public transport (tram stop outside hotel) Efficient staff who speak good English. Efficient air conditioning. room card includes public transport in the local area.

The restaurant didn't appear to open for dinner while we were there. The sound proofing could be improved, trams started at 4.45am and stopped after midnight.

Shopping areas and tourist areas within walking distance or accessible by tram and bus.

Good location for a " Nano break " as close to the staion and all the tram lines.

Could be noisy if you are near air conditioning outlets at the rear of the hotel , not a nice walk at times from station to hotel as some unsavoury characters about just like all mainline railway stations so would not recommend hotel to familes

Prima hotel en voor herhaling vatbaar

City Hotel ligt vlakbij het Centraal Station, vele restaurants (o.a. Japans en Koreaans) en op 10 minuten loopafstand van het centrum hart. Daarnaast stopt de tram letterlijk voor de deur en verstrekt het hotel een gratis OV dagkaart aan haar gasten. Kamers zijn ruim en opvallend schoon (wij verbleven er met 2 kleine kinderen en hadden desondanks voldoende ruimte). Het hotel zelf lijkt niet lang geleden gerenoveerd en daarmee prettig modern en verzorgd ingericht.

Parkeren kan lastig zijn maar in de directe omgeving zijn diverse parkeergarages waar men na uitladen van de koffers de auto kan parkeren.

Voldoende: De beroemde en luxe koopstraat van Dusseldorf, de Königsallee is op loopafstand, via deze straat is ook de oude stad van Dusseldorf en de Rijn Boulevard gemakkelijk lopend te bereiken.

Funktionales Stadthotel, Gratisfahrkarte für den Nahverkehr im Großraum Rhein/Ruhr für den gesamten Aufenthalt sehr nützlich und wirtschaftlich - Einsparung bis zu ? 20 pro Nutzungstag je nach persönlicher Verwendung.

Receptionspersonal zum größten Teil sehr wortkarg und wenig hilfsbereit. Frühstücksqualität entspricht nicht dem 4-Sterne-Standard - einzelne Speisen bereits überaltert und unappetitlich.

Parkmöglichkeiten fehlen ,
