We really liked this hotel, it has a sort of faded splendour, an old-fashioned villa feel. The views from our room were terrific and the hotel is in lovely settings. It is about a 20 min walk to Ponte Vecchio but quite direct and convenient. There are no restaurants nearby so you need to go into town. Good breakfast but there is no evening restaurant, only bar snacks, but the bar staff could not have been friendlier. All in all very relaxed and restful. Free parking is a bonus.

Vicinanza al centro di Firenze. Situato in zona residenziale e tranquilla. Parcheggio gratuito (anche se non prenotabile e con capienza limitata). Possibilità di parcheggio esterno, ma a pagamento nelle ore diurne. Gentilezza e professionalità del personale della reception.
Strutture un po' antiquate e da riammodernare. Colazione decisamente non a livello di un 4 stelle.

Helpful, friendly staff , spacious, spotless, elegant room (first floor main villa), comfortable bed, heater on in bathroom, trees and birdsong, quiet, good restaurant, silver-plated cutlery, lift, off-street parking (come early), had a lovely tea on the terasse, would go again.
bathroom taps and plugs could be replaced, duvets/quilts would be nicer than blankets.
