The trademark hotel restaurant with mezzanine bar, Hotel du Vin Bistro, serves the finest classic European cuisine, offering alfresco and private dining, a cigar shack, whisky snug and the intriguing La Roche tasting room, where guests can be taken on a pilgrimage around the world's finest vineyards by the Head Sommelier without having to leave the room. Each room features a double bed with hand sprung mattress, fine Egyptian linen, plasma TVs with DVDs, air conditioning, complimentary Internet access, 24-hour room service, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities, a minibar, snacks, an in-room safe, and an iron and ironing board. All are en suite with monsoon power showers, deep baths, hairdryers, bathrobes and luxurious toiletries. Rates include a full Scottish breakfast. Open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, the Bistro seats up to 66 guests and offers a menu rooted in classic European cuisine with a contemporary edge. A continental breakfast buffet is also served each morning, while lunch and dinner are served à la carte and from a set menu. The midday and evening meals are also offered in buffet form.
